At a packed meeting in Meopham on November 9th, Chairman Richard Knox-Johnston outlined his reaction to Gravesham Borough Council’s draft Core Strategy.


Over 450 people braved the wet weather to find out more about Gravesham’s plans to accommodate the future housebuilding needs of the borough.  Dismayed at the prospect of losing Green Belt land in the Borough to housing development, while the much-needed regeneration of brownfield sites is to be delayed, people listened to our concerns and raised their own worries about the future protection of their countryside.
