Defending Kent

Trosley Country Park is one of the sites covered by the new NNR

Read some of our submissions in response to inappropriate proposed development, plus appeals and some of our responses to Government consultations.  See how we continue to defend Kent, and the wider countryside.

This is not an exhaustive list but examples of some of our key responses.

Ash Levels Solar Farm – Appeal

Its potential impact on the scheduled national monument of Richborough Fort and Amphitheatre, convinced Dover District Council’s planning committee that the development should not be allowed to proceed and, on Thursday, November 27, members voted 10-0 to reject the 205-acre scheme from Norwegian state-owned company Statkraft (operating here as Little South Clean Energy Ltd) for Goshall Valley, East Street.

Statkraft / Little South Clean Energy Ltd are now going to appeal and we have been liaising with Save Ash Levels and others and have submitted our additional response to the appeal hearing.
