Well, if you missed it, you missed a treat!

We speak, of course, of today’s (Friday, November 21) CPRE Kent AGM at Lenham Community Centre, where some 50 people enjoyed enlightening reports of our charity’s work over the past year, two fascinating talks and finally a delicious spread of food.

President Jonathan Tennant, director Andrea Griffiths and chairman Ben Moorhead in turn covered much of CPRE Kent’s activities throughout 2025 and then, after an impressively swift wrapping-up of the standard AGM formalities, we were able to savour talks by Maria Greenwood, of Squiggle Consult, on such matters as wills and legacies and then Guy Nevill, who told us about the brilliant Chalk to Coast project, which aims to create a nature corridor between the North Downs and the Thames estuary.

And no CPRE Kent AGM would be complete without a concluding feast of sandwiches and other treats, together with the opportunity to catch up with friends and colleagues after another hectic year for all of us.

And relax…
