Join us for a rather special Star Count event at nature reserve

We’re joining our friends from Thanet Countryside Trust at Monkton to look to the skies

Star Count will be soon be upon us – and CPRE Kent is inviting you to a special event at Monkton Nature Reserve as part of the week-long citizen science project.

We are asking folk across the county to choose a clear night between 17-24 February and look to the skies to see how many stars they can spot within the constellation of Orion.

As ever, such experiences are best shared and that’s why we’re joining our friends from Thanet Countryside Trust at Monkton to look to the skies on Friday, February 17.

It’s a 7pm start and expected to run up to about 8.30pm – refreshments will be available. We are limiting numbers to 40, so to make sure of your place on this free event you can book here
