Join CPRE Kent and our guide for the afternoon to explore a beautiful part of the North Downs National Landscape and learn more about the local flora and fauna.

Trosley Country Park is 170 acres of beautiful woodland and chalk downland, with spectacular views over the North Downs. We will look at the lovely old woodland before descending to the grassland for some wildflower identification. The site is brilliant for butterflies, so fingers crossed for a nice warm day.

These special places, and others like them, are one of the reasons CPRE Kent work so hard to protect our countryside. Come and join us for the day of woodland, wildflower and wildlife appreciation and enjoy a cuppa with CPRE Kent staff at the cafe after the walk.

Our guide for the day has decades of experience in wildlife surveying and countryside and habitat management. CPRE Kent staff will also be on hand.

Further details and joining instructions will be sent to those booked to attend. Please note there are some steep slopes, so suitable footwear is required and the chalk grassland areas are not suitable for wheelchairs.

The date to mark is Friday, May 16, and the time 1.30pm-4pm.

Price: £8 per adult. CPRE Kent members get 50 per cent off.
