Merry Christmas from all at CPRE Kent

And so 2025 draws to its end and we want to thank every last one of you – members, supporters and helpers alike – for all that you have done over the past year.

It’s a familiar message and we seem to say it every year, but the Kent countryside has never been under greater threat. We’re keen not to sound a gloomy tone at this special time of year, but no one who loves our rural environment can have failed to notice that the pro-development (and anti-nature) rhetoric really has been ramped up over the past 12 months.

But, please be assured, CPRE Kent are here to fight the corner of the countryside and the people and the wildlife that cherish or depend upon it. We will NEVER give up, however intense the pressure gets.

But just for now, it’s time to take a break. So we wish you all a lovely, peaceful Christmas… and of course there’s no better time to enjoy the rich treasures of our county’s countryside than right now, so why not get out there and make the most of it?
